Jim founded Thinkdesign in 1995 after more than 10 years of leadership in a variety of marketing and creative director roles. His wealth of knowledge and vast experience in working with leading creative agencies, Fortune 500 companies, associations, and non profits helps guide the strategy, growth, and overall management of Thinkdesign. Jim oversees all creative and marketing strategy at Thinkdesign. He prides himself in staying connected with his clients by remaining a part of the day-to-day process.

Dallas is an award-winning creative director with over 10 years of achievement in multiple artistic disciplines. Accolades for his work include: Association Trends Gold Award, IABC Silver Inkwell Award, Printing Industry Association of America Certificate of Merit and the Art Directors Club of Metropolitan Washington Certificate of Merit. Dallas joined Thinkdesign in 2004 after working several years at a local agency and 4 years as a senior designer at Microstrategy.

Kimberly helps Thinkdesign clients by bridging the gap between creative and achieving measurable marketing campaign objectives. With five years experience in strategic communications, Kimberly works with clients on a day-to-day basis on project management, media planning/buying, and interactive support. Prior to joining Thinkdesign, Kimberly worked on a variety of successful marketing campaigns for a variety of government, non-profit, healthcare and corporate clients. Kimberly received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Communications from George Mason University.

Liz has more than 10 years of experience as a designer and has been with Thinkdesign for 3 years. Her work includes magazine and publication design for clients like The Smithsonian, Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, Public Risk Management Association and Laureate Education, Inc. Liz’s proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is on display with each project she manages. She takes great pride in her creativity, speed, and accuracy and is always looking for the next challenge.

Margo is an award-winning designer who has earned top honors from American Corporate I.D., Creativity Magazine, Graphic Design USA, the WebAwards, and the Legal Marketing Association. She has extensive experience developing corporate identity and web design for a wide variety of professional service firms, and earned her master’s degree in design from the Portfolio Center in Atlanta.

Marlyn has over 14 years of experience as a designer for national and local agencies. Her work has been for a range of clients that include General Motors, VW of America, Audi of America, Kmart, Spina Bifida Association, POGO, and Scivantage. Marlyn joined Thinkdesign in 2008 and has a BFA in Visual Communications and Illustration.

Margaret has more than 20 years of experience as a communicator. She has led public relations efforts, corporate communications and media outreach campaigns at the local, regional and national level for a variety of clients including Nextel, Pace Foods, the U.S. Modern Pentathlon Association, and All Ages Read Together. She has been supporting Thinkdesign clients since 2010 and holds a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin.

Vanessa has over 15 years of experience in marketing communications with a focus in event planning and management, which she brings to the table for Thinkdesign. Vanessa works with clients by managing all aspects of events (tradeshows, conferences, user group meetings, sales kickoffs, incentive trips, and seminars) including budgets, contract negotiations, logistics and staffing. Before joining the Thinkdesign team, Vanessa often relied on Thinkdesign for Marketing support while Director of Marcom for a software company. She received her Bachelors of Arts degree from University of Maryland. Go Terps!
